LaLiberte Calendar to Benefit Grab The Torch and National Association of Independent Schools - View our Press Release

The program will be a 5-day overnight camp experience. It has been developed to provide an in-depth educational experience into the business and commitment of the non-profit, foundation, cause related marketing and global greater good professional. A vital component of our mission will be to present ‘how it’s done and why they’re doing it.’ The students will hear the life experience and journey of each speaker into the non-profit world. The sessions will include presentations by foundation leaders, development professionals, college admission representatives, street volunteers, grant writers, corporate marketing professionals, non-profit strategic planning professionals, and presidents of boards and foundations.

Testimonials

"Dave Aldrich is on to something. Grab The Torch has a lofty mission: To teach the principles of philanthropy to the next generation – deliberately and with intention. His focus is on the adolescent who is moving through high school into college; his idea is to capture their attention and passion early so that they can be better prepared to continue the noble tradition of giving – a tradition that characterizes our very heritage. His Philanthropy Camp offers an incredible educational experience for students that are truly committed to make a difference. Hip hip for GTT; it’s a good thing."
