The majority students are required to volunteer for community service before graduation. It provides us with a comfortable entrée into the independent sector. It’s our best place to begin. We have no illusions that the future of giving and philanthropy will rely solely on the demographics of the independent and charter school sector.
Our series of programs includes:The Lecture Series
- Lecture and introduce the call to action
- Appoint team leaders, establish direction and set goals
- Select ambassadors and election of Youth Advisory Council by peers
- Schedule site visits to organizations
- Success stories to families and web postings
- Yearly submission to Bentley College’s “Tomorrow 25” for extraordinary accomplishments
